Concepts & Ongoing Work
orcSONAR predicts saRNA off-target activity in a cell-type-specific way, moving beyond sequence-similarity (BLAST) methods. It integrates 24 genomic, epigenomic, and structural data sources across a 7-stage pipeline into a single per-target risk score.
vuRNA is a hybrid RNA therapeutic concept that combines two mechanisms in a single molecule: the small activating RNA (saRNA) principle, which re-activates silenced tumor-suppressor genes, and miRNA sequestration, which neutralizes over-expressed oncogenic signals. In one molecule, it aims to perform the work that would normally require two separate treatments.
orcECHO is a next-generation, saRNA-based therapeutic concept designed to drive target genes into controlled hyper-activation — pushing their output beyond the ceiling of conventional activation strategies. The underlying approach is held confidential while the concept is in early development.
If any of these concepts resonate with your group's work and you'd be interested in developing it within your lab or company, I'd welcome the conversation.
